Vintage Japanese Travel Case Toiletry Set, in box
Vintage Japanese Travel Case Toiletry Set, in box
"New" in box vintage item. This is a black travel case and toiletries set from Japan's Showa-era.
The black plastic case has a nautical sailing ship embossed on the front. It has a nice strong clasp closure, and a durable silver and black handle. Inside are numerous items: a really unique travel toothbrush design, an unopened tube of toothpaste (please do not use!), nail clippers, an unopened blue razor, and three small empty containers; a white lotion bottle with screw-on lid, a blue container with screw-on lid, and a teal container with lid. All items inside seem to be plastic.
The box is a beautiful retro design in full color, with only little fading or marks, but some tearing, which can be seen in the photos. I don't know for sure which decade they're from, but my guess is the 1960s or 1970s. The item and box are in really good condition, considering the age. I secretly don't want this one to sell because I just love the design.
Weight ≈130g. Height ≈14cm x Width ≈5cm x Thickness ≈0.5cm.
