Vintage item. This is a set of two fabric wallets. They may be designed for holding currency or business cards, either would fit perfectly.
The exterior fabric of both wallets are a nice pattern made of many complimentary colors. While I know that Japan has traditionally made some things like this out of former kimono fabric, I do not know if this particular coin purse is made from kimono fabric, or not, so I can't say for certain. The interior fabric is a soft yellow. There is no clasp or closure.
The two wallets are in nice shape, considering the age, but there are some small signs of age. Please look closely at the detail photos. I suspect these are both unused, as the small imperfections in the fabric seem to be possibly caused by moths, and not from wear or use. They are in lovely condition, considering the age.
